Sheryl Peng

Brand Designer
SHP

Sheryl Peng’s path to graphic design and branding began with hands-on academic and freelance work, including collaborative projects with Harvard Innovation Lab during – and after  – her time at Boston University. As a consultant, her branding projects for emerging startups included developing brand identities and visual systems for early-stage teams, shaping her interest in branding as both a strategic and creative discipline. Sheryl approaches design as a practical tool- creating clear, accessible, and purpose-driven visual work that helps organizations communicate effectively. Alongside this pragmatic focus, she maintains a strong interest in exploratory and research-driven creative practice, informed by her academic thesis work and curiosity around ecological design and design for design’s sake. This balance between rigor and experimentation continues to influence her perspective as a designer. At Workshop/APD, Sheryl works across internal and client-facing brand initiatives, contributing to the evolution of the firm’s visual identity while supporting a wide range of branding and marketing efforts. On the weekend, she enjoys line dancing, skiing, hiking, and tackling puzzles of all kinds.
