Natalie Samay’s love for interior design began early — she spent her childhood sketching floor plans on an iPad, rearranging furniture, and imagining how small changes might transform the feeling of a room. A recent graduate of Indiana University’s Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Interior Design with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design, she brings both a strong design foundation and a thoughtful, people-first sensibility to her work. Before joining Workshop/APD as a Junior Designer, Natalie gained hands-on experience at a small residential firm on the New Jersey shore, where she helped to develop beach house projects from concept through detailing. Natalie’s own “simply eclectic” aesthetic is clean and calm, with an emphasis on found pieces, muted color, and spaces that feel cozy, happy, and lived-in. Outside the studio, she can be found on long walks, trying new coffee shops, cooking, and spending time at the beach.
