Leo Fuchs knew from an early age that he wanted to be an architect, an interest shaped in part by watching his parents build their home in his native Brazil. His path has since taken him across South America, Europe, and the United States, where he earned his Master of Architecture from Yale University and developed more than a decade of experience across high-end residential and hospitality projects. A licensed architect in New York and Brazil and a member of the AIA, Leo has increasingly expanded his practice beyond design into project delivery and development, with an emphasis on guiding projects from their earliest stages through construction.
At Workshop/APD, Leo is a Project Manager, bringing together design thinking with a strong understanding of the complete arc of a project. His approach begins with proportion and the relationships between architectural elements, building from those fundamentals through layers of detail and materiality to create spaces that feel considered as a whole. Outside the studio, Leo enjoys windsurfing, playing tennis, spending time outdoors, and continuing to read about architecture.
