For more than 15 years, Laurin VanBeukering has partnered with designers and clients to identify artworks and develop collections that strengthen a home’s architectural narrative. As an art advisor at Workshop/APD, she balances scale, medium, subject, and budget to create rooms that feel both elevated and livable. With a career rooted at the intersection of interiors and fine art, Laurin’s experience spans hospitality and residential work, including end-to-end coordination of sourcing, custom commissions, framing, and white-glove installation. She began in interior design and expanded her practice into art advisory, progressing from project coordination to senior creative leadership and portfolio development. Laurin earned a degree in interior design from Central Michigan University, with dual minors in art and construction management—an academic foundation that supports her detail-driven, highly collaborative approach. Outside of work Laurin finds inspiration in nature, hiking, working with horses, skiing, and traveling with her family.
