Senior interior designer Kelsey Hutchins brings more than ten years of experience in high-end residential design to her role at Workshop/APD, including a previous stint on the firm’s interior design team. An Austin, Texas native, Kelsey earned her Interior Design degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and has worked on projects across the U.S. and abroad. Starting at Workshop/APD as a Junior Designer, she advanced to Senior before launching her own firm in 2018.
After several successful years, she returned to Workshop/APD, valuing team collaboration and studio culture. Passionate about residential interiors, Kelsey focuses on helping clients express their style through materiality by exploring palettes, textures, and fabrics. Her style blends classic and eclectic elements inspired by nature. Outside work, she enjoys hiking with her son, visiting botanical gardens, and practicing woodworking, a craft rooted in her hands-on, DIY upbringing.
