Collin Kroll discovered design through his early love of fashion and furniture, eventually choosing architecture as creative but pragmatic career path that dovetails perfectly with his passion for making. A Florida native and a graduate of Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture before taking on roles in New York City in museum exhibition installation, retail design, and high-rise multi-family residential. As an architectural designer at Workshop/APD, he focuses primarily on luxury single-family homes from the Northeast to the Caribbean. Collin is drawn to the craft of detailing, celebrating natural materials and finding ways to express material connections and construction through his designs. His spaces celebrate function, aesthetic, and uninterrupted contextual relationships. In his free time, Collin can be found building furniture, enjoying music and basketball, sketching, and experimenting with 3D printing.
