To transform a dreary post-war duplex into a striking modern bachelor pad, we expanded its compressed rooms and brought brought in natural light through the addition of polished window surrounds to optically raise ceilings and enhance striking Chrysler Building views. A simple palette is elevated by an array of diverse surfaces from cerused wood to leathered stone.
