Asbury Park Beach Residence

This Asbury Park Victorian home renovation, originally constructed in 1891, preserved the charm of the original design while bringing it back to life as a young family’s weekend retreat. Invoking Workshop/APD’s modern feel required opening up the space in a way that felt authentic, adding lighter-toned woods and large windows while taking away some of the walls that separated living spaces. With rich hues along the stair, a ribbon of color climbing the front of the house, and deep contrasts throughout the rooms, every corner of this home draws attention from the outside in.
