Salt Lake City Hotel

Inspired by Utah’s unique landscape, this hotel design provides guests with a strong sense of place and setting. Our designers took hiking trips deep into the surrounding landscape and collaborated with the project’s operator to bring an immersive sense of nature into the concept for this downtown location. From the moment they enter the hotel, the design brings guests on a journey through the landscape. Guests rooms evoke an ultra-luxurious base camp, with wood and stone floors, custom furnishings that reference elements of camping, safaris and other journeys into nature. A modern take on trekking materials such as straps, rolled blankets, and leather serve as design details throughout the space, providing guests with an experience unique to the hotel, city, and surrounding topography.
