AutoCamp Catskills

Tasked with master planning as well as Clubhouse architecture and design for the famed Glamping hospitality brand’s second East Coast location, Workshop/APD drew inspiration from traditional agrarian architecture and the rich local music culture for AutoCamp Catskills. The Clubhouse, a focal point of the property, functions as a gathering place for guests and houses the reception area, indoor fire pit and lounge, General Store, and morning breakfast and coffee service. The building is a composition of two gabled masses with exposed post-and-beam interiors, creating a rustic indoor-outdoor gathering place that’s intrinsically tied to the community’s roots and open to a spacious natural clearing where guests can gather and relax.
