Incubator Workspace

Just north of Manhattan along the Hudson River, a bustling incubator engaged Workshop/APD to create a space conducive to creative collaboration. The sunny, industrial two-story office, boasting exposed brick and soaring ceilings needed an interior update to better support its entrepreneurial inhabitants, so we devised flexible layouts in an open-plan ground floor. Custom-made, mobile art screens display pieces from the founder’s eclectic collection, providing the flexibility to move around the room to transform and divide the space for events, meetings, performances and more.
