Workshop/APD led the rebrand of Abbot Mill, transforming the historic mill complex into Westford’s premier residential community. Anchored by the concept “History Unveiled,” the brand celebrates the property’s industrial legacy while introducing a renewed sense of contemporary living. Our team drew inspiration from vintage typefaces, archival industrial stamps, mill markings, and retro manufacturing signage to craft an identity that feels both authentic and forward-looking. The narrative framework balances heritage and modernity, connecting residents to the site’s craftsmanship, material history, and relationship to the surrounding landscape. Scope included brand strategy, visual identity development, environmental graphics, wayfinding, leasing collateral, and marketing materials, all working together to position Abbot Mill as a culturally rich, design-driven residential destination.
