Growing up in a mid-century modern home with a butterfly roof and abundant natural light, Camilla Oliverio developed an early appreciation for the ways thoughtful environments can shape daily life and well-being. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, and a Master of Arts in Art History and Museum Education from The City College of New York. Over the past decade, Camilla’s career has spanned museums, arts education, special education, and hospitality, including supporting exhibitions at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and preparing artists with disabilities for gallery exhibitions. These experiences deepened Camilla’s commitment to making art and design more accessible, a perspective she brings to her role at Workshop/APD as she supports project teams through coordination, communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. Outside the office, Camilla enjoys painting portraits inspired by color theory, exploring independent cinemas throughout New York City, and spending time in nature.
